Mr Munasi M Mashudu is an experienced entrepreneur who has acquired vast international experience in Safety, ICT and general business management. His journey and experience throughout the years, gives him satisfaction for achievements both personally and in his capacity as the Managing Director of Munasi Consulting.
Mashudu has vast experience is the building & electrical safety environment, having being a safety consultant for business such as Mashige Construction (a business that erects roads, bridges, dams, commercial and residential properties) and Mathoho Electrical (a business that installs and maintain electricity in over 1000 residential units in Gauteng. Mashudu conduct training and research initiatives in the Safety Industry through training and development initiatives. He is a part-time trainer at Vuwa Safety College. He has been o ffering his with Vuwa as a facilitator since 2009.
Mashudu has been involved in large scale construction work both as a project management assistant and a safety offi cer, he thus understand his responsibility as a safety offi cer with precision. He has also put Munasi Consulting in the international map through his Europe connections. Mashudu has won many prizes such as the Shanduka Black Umbrellas Business Ambassador award. He was also chosen by MEDO and travelled to England in 2013 on a business trade visit. With this he has attracted a lot of publicity having been featured in Sandton News, Daily Sun, Rekord, MEDO magazine and many others.
His latest achievement came in 2014 as Munasi Consulting graduate from the Shanduka Black Umbrellas (3 year) business incubation programme. Today Munasi Consulting is a successful independent business after 10 months of independence from Shanduka Black Umbrellas incubation programme. Mashudu holds various Health and Safety Certifi cates accredited by HWSETA, Department of Labour, MerSETA and other professional bodies. Mashudu also holds a Leadership Management Certifi cate from the University of Pretoria.
